The
only pottery Kay had painted prior to 2000 was Norma's vase.
This was a terra cotta vase given to her by a friend many years ago and
she painted it out of curiosity. A picture of the vase was seen by
Norma in 1999 and she asked if it was available. It was, and those
who saw it on display asked if the artist had any more pottery
available. This started Kay's artistic journey into painting pottery
and she named the vase that started this adventure Norma's vase. |
